A family owned and operated company; Wodonga Border Carpets has been on the border for over 60 years and are the only independlently owned flooring store on the border.
Originally owned by the Seaton family, Wodonga Border Carpets was takenover in 1993 by Llyod and Leah Venville, starting with no more than a few rolls of carpet in their shop at Thomas Mitchell Drive.
After a short stint on Melbourne Road, they moved the business to its current location of 4 Osburn Street in the late nineties. Succeeded by their children, Martin, Michelle and Chris in 2004, another change came about in 2007 with Michelle and Chris leaving Wodonga Border Carpets to start their own ventures. It is now owned and operated by Martin and Donna Coates.
Shortly after Martin and Donna purchased the business a new look and fresh approach resulted in an expansion in 2008 with the addition of National Tiles Wodonga to the Wodonga Border Carpets family, continuing the tradition of making Wodonga Border Carpets your one stop flooring Shop.
Passionate about supporting the local community, Martin is very proud that Wodonga Border Carpets and National Tiles collectively employ 22 fulltime team members all from the local area. As strong supporters of the region,Wodonga Border Carpets also sopnsor a large number of local sporting teams and community events, with their staff also donating time to help the disadvantaged, through community programs such as Care Van.
In July 2015 Wodonga Border Carpets and National Tiles Wodonga were proud to announce the opening of their veryown Trade Store, fulfilling a growing need to service the trade industry more efficiently.
